I specialize in the design and analysis of behavior change interventions using avanced quantitative methods, as well as teaching and mentoring others to do the same using best-practice recommendations.
While much of my published research involves digital behavior change interventions (DBCIs) for weight management, I am interested in creating recommendations which may be applicable to DBCIs for any health outcomes by blending expertise from across health behavior, psychology, and communications sciences.
I'm also interested in several other content areas, including: depression and related mental health characteristics, adressing public health disparities, LGBTQIA+ health, and rural health, as I am a first-generation graduate from a frontier rural background.
I'm always happy to chat about research and analyses, so don't hesitate to email me if you have any questions or want to connect. If I don't know the answer to your question, I will try to connect you with someone who will.
I'm a cat dad who loves horror and tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs) and is happiest in cold, grey, rainy weather. Halloween is (unsurprisingly) my favorite holiday of the year, and I rewatch the Lord of the Rings every winter.
I've also been recording and producing a horror TTRPG podcast for the past 2 years, and am always happy to chat about audio editing or podcast recording equipment and advice!
